Open Hearts and Minds
Established since 2010, we are a local non-profit organization based in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Our focus is on YOU, families, and the New Smyrna Beach and surrounding communities where we provide services in an open, discrimination-free environment.
Our vision includes: creating a learning and research institution with an online and community presence. The student-driven learning center will allow individuals to learn about subjects they choose and conduct research based on their interests.
Our goals include opening a community center that provides services such as membership-based open library, learning groups, support groups, discussion groups, community garden, community help network for needy families, spiritual wellness, and student-driven learning and research.
Our financial goals to give back to the community include local fund raisers, rummage sales, community help projects, and special events. The funds raised will be used to create a community garden, community help network for needy families, and a community-based learning center.

To create an institution where individuals, families, and our local community can interact with open hearts and minds to grow from one another without threat of discrimination in an effort to make the world a better place for ourselves and future generations.
